Blessings at Christmas Time

It is Christmas Eve here in the U.S.A. as I write this and I just wanted to get on and say blessings to you all during this Holiday time. Also I wanted to share some reflections on what Christmas time is all about, it's for friends, families, and loved ones. It's for those who may not have any loved ones near by to be taken in and loved by those who know them. It's about peace, love, connection, and blessings. Yes most definitely blessings.

What are you feeling blessed for this year? I am blessed with a loving family who cares. I am blessed with amazing friends who love me just as I am. I am blessed to be part of an amazing women's group called the Retro Dolls who are all about empowering women and young girls to be true to themselves and know they are beautiful just as they are no matter what. I am also blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life who allows me to just be myself no matter what, who loves and adored me just for being me.

It's the greatest feeling in the world to know you are loved and adored just for being you. So many people feel as though there are stipulations around love, otherwise they are not "good enough." Negative beliefs seem to run their mind and thoughts like: if only I was smarter I'd be loved, If only I was prettier or more attractive, if only I was stronger, better, bigger, smaller, whatever.... the list goes on. But what if I told you that YOU are good enough, just as you are. You deserve love and appreciation just as everyone else does. And you also deserve to show others that they are loved and appreciated too and that is where Christmas time can help with that.

When was the last time you told someone you loved them, that they did an amazing job, that they looked nice, and so many other things? When was the last time you complimented someone genuinely? When was the last time you received such a compliment yourself? Show others love, show yourself love, and let the love flow inward and outward towards you and all others.
