Honor Yourself and Your Dreams

I want you all to know that it is not only okay to honor yourself and your dreams, it is mandatory for a happy fulfilling life. If you stay in situations or with people who don't honor you, or your dreams you are only hurting yourself. We all have a right to want what we want and to dream our dreams, to follow our dreams and make them reality. We also have the right to walk away from things when they don't align with our dreams, our hopes, and our vision for our life.

When two people are together and they find that they want different things overall, it makes it very difficult for the relationship to work and last because they are conflicting. Ending things for this reason is not a bad thing, it doesn't make you or the other person right or wrong, things just are the way they are and two people are either on a similar path that they can continue together, or their paths may take them in different directions and that is okay too. Just honor yourself when the reality comes up that you are going in a different direction, that you want different things, honor that within yourself and honor them for their hopes and dreams as well.

But we must honor ourselves first, too often one person in a relationship will sacrifice their own hopes and dreams in order to support the partner in their hopes and dreams, while sacrificing themselves they are depleting themselves and it will be detrimental to them in the long run. We must never sacrifice ourselves to the detriment of ourselves. There is a fine line between being supportive and encouraging and loosing yourself.

Stay true to YOU. Do what makes your heart sing, do what brings you joy, fill your life with those who lift you up instead of bring you down. Take stock of those you have in your life, figure out if your paths are congruent or not. And if not honor that by letting them go so you can honor yourself and your dreams, while they honor themselves and their dreams.

Let go of blame, don't blame them for what they want, or that what they want is different. Allow them to have their dreams, just as you wish to have your own. Just be willing to acknowledge when your hopes and dreams are incongruent and let it go.

This isn't about them, it's about you.

Ask yourself these questions:

What do you want to do with your life?

How do you see your future?

Where do you want to live?

What kind of house do you want to have?

What are you passionate about? What gives meaning to your life?

What kind of person do you want by your side?

Allow yourself to answer these questions honestly. Be brutally honest with yourself, only then can you start to take the action steps necessary that will lead you to your dreams. It is all possible. Believe in yourself, believe in your dreams, and be willing to make them happen.

Blessings beautiful souls.
