Giving Thanks

Today, on this day of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share what I am thankful for this year. I want to inspire you to share what you are thankful for as well. As you honor and express your thanks it is a form of gratitude and the more gratitude you exude in this life, the more good things will come to you.

I am thankful for my supportive friends and family. I am grateful for those who have stood by me and stayed with me through the good times and the hard times, for there have been many of both.

I am thankful to have written and published my book "Thriving After Diagnosis..."

I am thankful to have my story and message available to the world and those who can benefit.

I am thankful to those who have bought my book, read my book, and share my book, getting that message out to more people.

I am thankful for the beautiful and amazing world I live in, my hometown of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

I am thankful to live in nature and be able to connect with nature and wildlife regularly.

I am thankful to live in a place where I feel at peace and truly at home.

I am thankful for my pets, my dog Chase, and two kitties, Sylvie and Fluffy. Life would not be the same without them. I miss them when I am away for any length of time, and love their presence when I am home. They make me feel good and at ease inside. They truly are a blessing.

I am thankful for all these things and more.

I am thankful for good food to eat, fresh water to drink, a warm comfortable bed, a roof over my head and being provided for.

I am thankful for the love I have in my life, the love in my heart, and the sharing of both.

I am thankful for my healing, for letting go, and releasing the past.

I am thankful for my strength and determination.

I am thankful for my belief in myself and my ability to heal.

I am thankful for my creativity and the expression of it through writing, color, and inspiration.

Thank you to all who have read this.

What are you thankful for today?

It doesn't have to be Thanksgiving either to be thankful.

We should all be thankful every day, no matter what day it is.

Be thankful for the big things, be thankful for the little things, and everything in between.

Be thankful for your life and the precious gift that it is.

Blessings to you and yours on this day of Thanksgiving.
